Ashad Parvez, Debiganj: Due to the microbus in Panchagarh Debiganj An auto driver Kaimuddin (45) and his wife Anwara Begum (40), were killed.
On Thursday afternoon, the accident happened on the Debiganj-Domar road of Sadar Proshika more. Kasimuddin’s house is in Deviganj Sadar area.
The police and locals said that, on the afternoon, Kaimuddin was returning home from the Deviganj market from Ottawa. At that time, his wife Anwara Begum and granddaughter Anika (6) were in the house. On the way, Kaimuddin died on the spot, when a barraged microbus hit him from behind in Proshika Road area.
In his critical condition, his wife Anwara Begum was first taken to Debiganj Upazila Health Complex. He died on the way to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital when the condition deteriorated. Their granddaughter Anika is known to be fear-free.
Debiganj Police Station OC Rabiul Hasan Sarkar said the microbus immediately shocked the auto-van ran away. However, two microbuses of the boatman were suspected to be detained.
